Bachelor Party Survival

Last fall, Trevor hosted a destination bachelor party for his buddy David in Savannah, GA. Savannah is a beautiful city for those of you who have never been, and one of the best perks of visiting there is their open container law. Yep, that’s right, you can buy margaritas and Midnight Gardens on the waterfront and they’ll refill you all the way down River St. It’s magical. For this reason, it’s become a popular destination for bachelor and bachelorette parties, which is why Trev decided to take the guys there.

Being the awesome wife I am, I made little kits for each guy to take with them for recovery after their raucous night. Nothing is worse than having a fabulous night out and then not being able to move the next day. You can definitely tweak these bags for a bachelorette party, but here is what I included in my bags for the boys:

  • Bottled water*
  • Gatorade
  • Tylenol*
  • Tums
  • Emergen-C
  • Gum*
  • Skittles*
  • Chips*
  • Rice Krispy Treats*

The best part is, these bags were not expensive to throw together. Everything with an asterisk beside it came from the Dollar Tree as did the gift bags. The hanging tags and stag stickers (for stag night…get it! 🙂 ) came from Michaels. All together, I made 12 bags for $45, and they were a huge hit with the guys!

Here is a beautiful photo from the top of the Hilton Desoto in Savannah, that I took a few years ago. It really is a colorful, vibrant city, that has an artsy but historical feel. If you’ve never been it’s worth the trip!
