Hello, Friends!

This is a blog for all of you out there who think you don’t have the creativity, budget, or time to DIY your home. Trust me, you do!

If someone had told me 5 years ago that I would learn how to lay tile, repair windows, paint my own wall art, and repurpose almost any piece of furniture, I would have looked at them like they had a third eye. Now, I can’t wait to finish one project before I’ve already started plotting the next (which sometimes gets me and the Lowe’s card in trouble!) The truth is, to be good at DIY you don’t have to be an expert at first but you do have to be willing to fail before you succeed. Lucky for all of you, I have failed in my various creative attempts more times than I can count and am willing to write about it, so you can learn from my mistakes.

In addition to passing on my DIY maven hacks I will be sharing decor ideas and inspiration, that I use to make our home a true expression of our individual styles. If you’re not sure if you can blend farmhouse chic and mid century modern, let me be the first to tell you, it’s possible!
